THOUGHTS FOR WEEKS 23 AND 24

Last week i had to say goodbye to my little dog ringo , i had to take him to his new home with very good friends of mine , janet and rob , and their daughter kirsty , who are the best people i could  have ever wished for my little dog to go too , i know he will be loved and cherished by all the family , even the kids , but that does not take away from it being a massive wrench for me and a really heartbreaking thing to have to do . i was in tears round the corner after dropping him off , now i know the people who are not animal lovers among you will just think oh get over it ,, but as the dog lovers among my friends will know , they are part of the family and you do get attached to them , he has been with me since he was 8 weeks old and ive loved him all of the time since then , but i had to do what was right for ringo , and not be selfish , i could have kept him and left him alone for 12 hours at a time while i was at work , but that would have been cruel , so i had little or no choice and had to find a good home for him , which as ive said i have done , and the best bit is as they are friends of mine i can keep up with how he is and even go and see him from time to time , so really the best outcome we could have hoped for ,,,, i do miss him though and the place is so quiet without him , but time will ease the pain ,,, love you ringo and love all my friends see  you all soon , also this week me and a lot of friends of mine have lost one of our mates who sadly passed away last week , his name was danny , he was only 47 but had cancer and the doctors could not do anything for him , so me and the walshaw massive will be giving him a proper walshaw send off on thursday ,, so my thoughts are with all our mates and all of dannys  extended family ,,,, RIP danny mate , your place at the bar will be there forever xxxxxxxxxxxxxx not 2 of my better weeks im afraid but life goes on and what does not kill us makes us stronger so im told xxx thanks again for all your support

TRAINING WEEK 23 AND 24

During theese last two weeks i have been on 7 lane swimms of an hour and half each , plus ive been on 8 long walks as well , as i applied for my gym membership before i got my job i can only go between 9am and 5pm during week days and certain times at weekend so have found the times i can get there between shifts is quite dificult , so im applying to have my membership changed over to a normal one so i can go anytime , i can then fit a swim and run or walk in before and after work on any given day ,,, from this week i will be measuring my walks and putting the times and distances in my blog so keep your eyes peeled , bye for now xxx

THOUGHTS FOR WEEKS 21 AND 22

As you will have noticed this week i have not done my blog for the last 2 weeks , and from now on i will only be updating it every two weeks , the reason for this is , i have just started a new apprenticeship for my NVQ level 3 qualification in health and social care . Hope this does not detract from you all reading it , but doing the work ile have to do on the pc to get my grades it will mean lots more time online , so ile split it all into 2 weekends , one week ile do my course work , the next ile do my blog , im sure i can still count on your support in both theese fields that i have started , anyway looks like the good weather is here for a bit now so will be able to get out walking more too , just a thought about my dog , you will be pleased to know i have found good people who are going to take ringo for me , as i stated in earlier posts ive got to get rid of him as my hours are not condusive with having a pet dog , there is nobody to look after him when im on sleepovers and 12 hour shifts , its going to be hard to let him go cos i love him to bits , but i have to do whats best for ringo , but please be there if i need to cry on your shoulder when he goes xxx thank you all again for your support ,,, xxx love you all xxx and you ringo xxx
