THOUGHTS FOR WEEKS 25-26

Over the last two weeks we lost one of our friends to cancer , he was only young , 47 , very sad for his girlfriend and close family , and a big shock to his mates as well , it’s when things like this happen that you feel that you want to live forever , but sadly we will not . So another thing it does is give us a new lease of life , as we say to ourselves , right lets make the most of this great gift of life that we have been given , so that’s what I intend to do , and I hope all you will too . I’m finding this challenge really hard , a lot harder than I actually thought , don’t worry I’m not giving up , it’s just that with normal life and work , and the knocks we all take along the way , it sometimes makes you think , ( what am I doing this for ) but then I snap out of it , I’m sure those of you who have given up smoking and been on diets and Heath kicks yourselves know what I mean , but I just keep remembering that I’m doing this for myself FIRST and for my children , as they want me around for a long time , so that’s my motivation , ile get there to that ten stone weight loss eventually , but will need all the support and help I can get , which I may add I’ve had in spade loads from lots of you , so thanks for that . Just a thought for my eldest son John , who has had an interview for a lecturers job at derby university , good luck son , and he has one coming up at Salford uni too , which is the one he wants really , so good luck to you son , I love you loads xxx thanks again to all my friends and family for your continued support xxx it all helps xxx

THOUGHTS FOR WEEKS 21 AND 22

As you will have noticed this week i have not done my blog for the last 2 weeks , and from now on i will only be updating it every two weeks , the reason for this is , i have just started a new apprenticeship for my NVQ level 3 qualification in health and social care . Hope this does not detract from you all reading it , but doing the work ile have to do on the pc to get my grades it will mean lots more time online , so ile split it all into 2 weekends , one week ile do my course work , the next ile do my blog , im sure i can still count on your support in both theese fields that i have started , anyway looks like the good weather is here for a bit now so will be able to get out walking more too , just a thought about my dog , you will be pleased to know i have found good people who are going to take ringo for me , as i stated in earlier posts ive got to get rid of him as my hours are not condusive with having a pet dog , there is nobody to look after him when im on sleepovers and 12 hour shifts , its going to be hard to let him go cos i love him to bits , but i have to do whats best for ringo , but please be there if i need to cry on your shoulder when he goes xxx thank you all again for your support ,,, xxx love you all xxx and you ringo xxx

THOUGHTS FOR WEEK 20

This week i had another weigh in and it didnt go well , lost only 5 pound in 6 weeks , must admit ive not been on the ball with my exercise really since i started my new job ,, joined the gym in middleton but only able to fit it in at weekend and my days off , went away this weekend with friends to blackpool and had a great time , had a chat with a gaurdian angel as well , we discussed my small weight loss and i had to admit to this angel , who only has my best interests at heart by the way ,, that i had not been putting my all into it  over the last 4 weeks , not very nice having to admit that to myself and to all you people who are supporting me in this quest .but i have come home from my weekend away more determined than ever to not let myself down or any of my supporters , so i have been getting myself in a focussed mood again and ile really try my best this next 4 weeks to gain a better weigh in figure for next time , dont want any of you to think this is easy , cos its not but the stark revalation is , that if i fail in this then i will ” DIE ” sounds dramatic i know , but is also a reality so ive got to get my focussed head back on and see you all in 4 wweks ,,, thank you all again for your support ,, i need it xxx thank you angel xxx you know who you are xxx

THOUGHTS FOR WEEK 19

My thoughts this week have mainly been directed at the responsability of having a pet , very soon im going to have to make a big decision about my dog ringo , as some of you know ive started a new job , and the hours im doing are not condusive to having a dog at home , what i mean by that is , my hours are long , ie ,, 12 hour days sometimes , and eventually ile be having to do stopovers as well , so this is not right to keep a pet locked up for all that amount of time , so as you can see ive been wracking my brains to find a solution to the problem , but i think mile be left with only one way to go and that will be to pass ringo on to a loving home , its only fair he has the life i wanted for him when i got him , so if you know any answeres to my dilemma please let me know , or you know a good home he can go to as well xxxx i love him but need to be fair to him as well , so thats what my thoughts have been about this week , xxx love you all xxx

THOUGHTS FOR WEEK 18

Hello everybody well what can i say about this wek , ive started my new job as an outreach support worker on tuesday 7th may ,, we are supporting children and adults with autism , and asbergers syndrome ,,, we are working with them in the family home or some of them are lving independantley ,, we are there to support them in enjoying there lives and enabling them to achieve as much as they can in the ouside world , its been great up to now , scary and totally different to anything ive done before , but going off this week i think im going to relish the challenge .there is also lots of training im going to be doing as i get my NVQ,S wich will be my qualifications in this sphere of outreach support work . Also next week now im working im joining the gym at middleton , so from now on i will have a proper exercise programme to put into the training part of the blog , looking forward to swimming everyother day and going into the classes they have on at the middleton arena , theres loads , boxersise , cycling , zumba , aerobics aqua aerobics and all sorts ,, so its heads down and look forward to work and lots of weight loss in the comming weeks ,,, once again thank you for all your support and good wishes xxx love you all ,,
